Mix and Match China Patterns

We have been moving discontinued China from upstairs at the store for what seems like days.  A big shout out goes to Julie, BJ, and Lerin for making the trek upstairs each day and washing literally hundreds of dishes!

There are some great deals on some great patterns right now and I just could not pass up the opportunity to have mix match china.  After milling it over for several days, I decided to go with five piece place settings rather than just plates.  I got a great deal and all the discontinued place settings were $25 and the active place settings were $50.

Staying with my love of all things Black and White I chose five place settings of Black and White China with Platinum Bands and five settings of White and Platinum.  I can't wait to use them next time I have a "dinner party" with Stephen's Black Waterford John Rocca Bowl as the table's center piece.

Six Months and Already Moving Furniture ;)

I love moving my furniture around and it stayed put for about six months.  Tonight I got a bee in by bonnet as my mom would say and I started moving things around.  Here's the new look we've gone with.  A HUGE thanks to my BIL John for helping Stephen move the piano into the dinning room/new formal living area!

Old College Tri

It's official, September 9th in Denton, TX the "No Teacher Left Behind" team will be doing their first sprint tri.  Callie, JoDee and I will give it our best shot and swim a 250, bike 12 miles, and run a 5K.  While the distances aren't super long they are a little scary to me because I've never done them all, in a row, without stopping.  But I can't wait to mark "Sprint Tri" off the bucket list and have a time to improve on for the next race we will do!

Zero!

Dr. Vineyard called today with results hot off the fax machine. My Beta Levels are officially zero!!!! I had them faxed to Dr. Vandermolen and they called about thirty minutes later. I have to get them checked again in two months and then four months after that. If all goes as predicted and they stay at zero, we can start treatments again in February.

In trying to find the bright side, while February seems like a lifetime away it is the only month I've ever conceived in so that's gotta be good luck right?!?!
